London: Marion Bartoli of France reached her First Grand Slam Final by shockingly defeating Women World No. 1 Justine Henin-Hardenne 1-6, 7-5, 6-1. Except the first set, in the second and third sets Wimbledon Women’s No. 1 seed played second fiddle to French women tennis player no. 1 who is seeded 18.

Meanwhile, in another Semi-final match Venus Williams of US, who is seeded 23 defeated Ana Ivanovic of Serbia, seeded 6 without dropping a set 6-2, 6-4.
