The other day I heard about this Miss World “PAKISTAN”……And I started to surf all the News Channels from all the continents thanx to my satellite dish and for the first time I saw those channels adopting an acceptable tone towards Pakistan and on airing content that didn’t contained any thing regarding Taliban, Usama, Bomb Blast, Religious Extremism and what not……..And a Positive, Progressive, Enlightened, Dynamic and a Soft and True Image of Pakistan was projected.
But those who have nothing to do but to stick to their Run of The Mill Fatway Bazee and Using abusive language that clearly reflects their mindset and the kind of environment that they are brought up in that comprises of their family, people around them and above all their Parents. So to them I would say that on such forums where you express your “VALUABLE” views, always remember that you are representing your Mother and Father.
And whatever she is wearing, if her parents and she have no problem with that then why are you guys getting so pissed off with that, just chill and grow up KIDDOZ!!!! Don’t you watch the fashion shows held in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore the same clothes are displayed there but if some body do some thing for Pakistan and tries to project a positive and soft face of Pakistan and bring honor and good name to this country, there we see all the FATVEY BAAZ coming in to play and ruining the already tarnished image of this country.

I read your thoughts, you are saying Positive Image of Pakistan, western media is showing positive signs in Pakistan, but that positive sign is for them, what every they feel right they say its right and what ever Muslims(anywhere in world) do they say its wrong. Have you ever seen them saying any positive aspects of Muslims? never!! Becuase what they dont like they say it simply wrong.

To Salman and others who may’ve had the same question mark in their head while going through the text that I posted.
First of all I will say that thanks for at least giving it a thought and since I got a response, then I would say that IT HAD AN IMPACT…..
Salman actually this is a kind of question, I come across a lot and I simply reply it in a very immaculate manner, though it is another story that there narrow minded attitudes harvested in the 80’s (thanks to “Mard-e-Haq’s” Reign) which are unfortunately inherited by some faction of our youngsters from their parents, who had spent their teenage in that ridiculous, miserable, black and demonized era, due to which their small brains are yet to accommodate the vast philosophy that argument holds.
Therefore I would say that if any one in my family members can carry herself the way a professional beauty pageant would do, then I will be the first person to support her because most of the celebrities who are given red carpet welcome and where people die to just see a mere glimpse of them, for example Angelina Julie she is the UN good will ambassador, few years back the tragic event that shook this part of the world, the disastrous earth quake of Oct 8,2005 she came to Pakistan and met the President, Prime minister and many dignitaries and we always see her in the headlines for her “thing” to adopt poor children and she is a darling of the international media, so the bottom line is that she is a HIGH PROFILE CELEBRITY despite what she did in ORIGNAL SIN, GIA and likes of it and the same is the case with other top slot celebrities.
And now the other part that they (so called “western media”) don’t highlight the positive aspects of Islam. Well I guess I should compliment your naïve ness coz how can u even think that they will say anything good about our religion, which is the “WAY OF LIFE” but with what argument are we going to prove it, where we see people blowing themselves up chanting the word “ALLAH O AKBAR”, the fascist Molviz using our sacred mosques that are supposed to be the nurseries of good are used as breeding grounds for Terrorists and used as a platform for nurturing extremism and fascism.
So that is why I will again say that if we are so worried about the way they are portraying us then we should come up with things to shut there mouths up by making a name for our selves in all the fields of this century that include Fashion industry ASWELL. And that is why I said that at least if some one is taking a step in that direction then we should support them, rather then acting like any next door Molvi.

Excuse me…i dont think she has committed any sin bigger than what already goes around in the country, she hasent done anything different. Go and watch the Punjabi movies with our buffaloes dancing in them all naked and the type of dity crowd that goes in those cinemas to watch the free shows thoroughly. dont forget when these buffaloes go abroad ofcourse again representing our country Pakistan in a much worse way. also please do not forget if we are all so concerned about our image in the west then we shud perhaps focus our attention on more serious issues like being called terrorists..thats what we need to all work on. Since its honestly a shame to be even called a Pakistani in those nations.
Also please dont forget about the poitical condition of our, there is no safety of life here, the police raping the girls, you feel more scared of the police than the thieves…so pleaseeeeeeeeeeee look into urselfves first , what we are and where we are coming from…..

After having lived in Austria for 5 years, when I returned to Pakistan I felt as if now I have entered the land of pseudouism, every single thing here SUCKS!!!
