Dipika Pallikal Biography:

Dipika Pallikal full name is Dipika Rebecca Pallikal. She was born on 21 September 1991. She has won the German, Dutch, French, Australian and Scottish Opens.

Dipika Pallikal became only the second Indian ever to break into the top 100 of squash (WISPA ranking) rankings rising to a career-high 91st in May 2007 … She is currently training under an Egyptian coach Mohamed Essam Saleh, has 224 points. She visits the country from time to time.

She was offered to star in tamil movies which she refused for the moment as she wanted focus on the no. 1 spot in Asian Squash. However, she started endorsing big brands and has been appearing in many advertisements. And her popularity is on the rise.

Hailed as the next Joshna Chinappa, Dipika says she is happy that people expect her to do well. The Asian No. 1 player in the under-15 category to the Hindu Newspaper, “Of course that means there is the burden of expectations on my shoulders but that keeps me motivated and drives me towards my goal.”

Dipika has been taken under the wings of Mahesh Bhupathi’s Globosport and she has another surprise up her sleeves. “Come next month and you will see my personal website as well,” she added, with a smile.
