Mizoram Political news update after the election

Most of the used Electronic Voting Machines have been received back in the District Hqrs. and sealed in the Strong room. In Lawngtlai District, Electronic voting machines from 6 polling stations are yet to be received back and they are expected this evening. Meanwhile the Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Lalmalsawma told ZONET that the over all percentage of vote polled is estimated to be 77.77 percent although there are some small polling stations where complete report is not yet received.
