Aizawl: The Mizoram cabinet has agreed to a CBI probe on the mysterious death of Rev Chanchinmawia, a prominent church leader and President of the Mizoram People's Forum (MPF). "During a meeting here yesterday, the cabinet decided to hand over re-investigation of the Presbyterian Church leader's death to CBI," Haukhum Hauzel, state chief secretary and cabinet secretary said on Thursday.

Khonumthung News, May 3 - The Burmese military junta recently decided to add some part of Chin state as an integral part of Sagaing division.
Nay Pyi Daw, the new capital of Burma reportedly sent its delegate U Aung Myo Nyunt from the central survey department stationed in Nay Pyi Daw to Kalay town to carry out the demarcation in which it plans to cut some part of Chin state, said a letter of complaint from village heads from the excluded villages of Chin state sent to Nay Pyi Daw on April 3.
